Mag. Ulrike Huemer

Ulrike Huemer is Senior Economist at WIFO and has been working in the Research Group "Labour Economics, Income and Social Security" since 2001. She completed her studies in Economics at the University of Graz in 2001 with a Master's degree. Ulrike Huemer's professional activities focus on the structural development of gainful employment and unemployment, the European comparison of labour market performance and the medium-term employment forecast by occupations and qualifications in Austria. Regular studies are the labour market monitor for the Austrian Chamber of Labour and the occupational and sectoral employment forecast for the Austrian Public Employment Service (AMS). Ulrike Huemer is a national expert in the Skillsnet network of CEDEFOP. She has participated in numerous WIFO studies and has published in internationally peer-reviewed journals.
