Mag. Dr. Claudia Kettner-Marx, MSc

Claudia Kettner-Marx is Senior Economist at WIFO and has been working in the Research Group "Climate, Environmental and Resource Economics" since 2008. Prior to that position she worked as a researcher at the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change at the University of Graz and as a freelance researcher at WIFO and Joanneum Research, Graz. Her key areas of research include EU and Austrian climate and energy policy (with focus on the role of market-based instruments) and indicators for sustainable development. Claudia Kettner-Marx has comprehensive experience in the coordination of national research projects, often involving interdisciplinary research teams. In addition, her professional experience includes participation in EU Framework Programmes 6 and 7 projects as well as lectureships at TU Wien, the University of Graz, the Danube University Krems and at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies. She holds a doctoral degree in Social and Economic Sciences from TU Wien, a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Graz and a Master's degree in Renewable Energies from the TU Wien.
