The workshop, led by economic researchers Franz Sinabell and Fabian Unterlass and accompanied by WIFO deputy director Margit
Schratzenstaller, is dedicated to the topic of "value creation". In the workshop "From Wheat Grain to Kaisersemmel" the girls
will find out how goods and values are created. From the seed to the bread roll at the breakfast table, all the required steps
will be followed. Girls will get to know the people who create these values, and together with the girls we will also think
about what will be destroyed if good food is simply thrown away. The only prerequisite for participation in the workshop is
a basic interest in the topic "environment and circular economy".
