Euroconstruct vertretene Länder +1,6%). Der Ausblick für die Jahre 2016 bis 2018 ist weiterhin positiv (+2,5% p. a.), allerdings
zeichnet sich bereits eine Verflachung des Wachstums gegen Ende des Prognosehorizonts ab. In Österreich dürfte die Bauwirtschaft
bis 2018 mit +1,2% pro Jahr weiterhin schwächer wachsen als im Durchschnitt der 19 europäischen Länder.

Sustained Upswing in European Construction
After experiencing a turnaround in 2014, European construction output continued to expand in 2015. Construction output within
the 19 Euroconstruct countries increased by 1.6 percent in real terms in 2015. The outlook for 2016-2018 continues to be optimistic
(a plus of 2.5 percent per year), even though growth is envisaged to be dampened towards the end of the forecasting period.
With its performance improving by 1.2 percent per year up to 2018, the Austrian construction industry is expected to grow
at a slower rate than the average of the 19 Euroconstruct countries.
