Aviso: More Research Integrity for Austria

Not least due to problematic practices that have recently come to light in Austria, studies financed with public resources in particular are at the center of social debate. WIFO, IHS, AIT, JR and wiiw are convinced that research integrity is an indispensable necessity and essential for any research activity.
As early as 2020, the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) and the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) paved the way for consolidating good scientific practice in the Austrian research landscape with a joint initiative. In 2022, they will look back and together with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), JOANNEUM RESEARCH (JR) and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) talk about future steps of their initiative – also in view of the discussion on new research funding models.
