WIFO Launches New Website

Experience Economic Research in a Straightforward, Intuitive and Accessible Way
The Austrian Institute of Economic Research has undergone a comprehensive relaunch of its website. The content of wifo.ac.at is now presented in an even clearer way, search and bilingualism function more intuitively and accessibility has been further expanded.

Navigation has been streamlined along the main menu items Research, Publications, Staff, Institute and Latest News. In future, keywords such as inflation will structure the content even more clearly. In addition to news, research and events, the website now also presents the persons behind WIFO's economic research. WIFO's X news ticker (formerly known as Twitter) also provides regular and even faster information. The WIFO-Monatsberichte (monthly reports) are now also presented in an even more user-friendly format. The career portal has also been fundamentally revised.

wifo.ac.at is the centrepiece of WIFO's communication. The website makes public goods available free of charge in the form of research results and economic policy recommendations. The aim of WIFO's outreach strategy is to anchor the Institute's research in economic policy and scientific discourse and processes in the long term and to generate impact in science, business and society.

WIFO understands impact to mean that its research findings and recommendations are actively utilised in Austria and the EU. For this reason, the consistent bilingualism in German and English has also been improved.

The relaunch was realised together with the Viennese digital agency Fonda.
