Die Vereinigung Europäischer Konjunkturforschungsinstitute (AIECE) prognostiziert für 1989 ein Abflachen der Hausse der Industrierohstoffpreise,
für 1990 sogar einen Preisrückgang. Wie der vorangegangene Preisanstieg wird er vor allem von den NE-Metallen getragen sein.
Mit kurzer Verzögerung dürfte diese Abflachung auch die österreichischen Importpreise von Industrierohstoffen erfassen.

The "Association d'Instituts Européens de Conjoncture Economique" (AIECE) forecasts a slowdown in the rise of industrial raw
material prices for 1989, and a reversal for 1990, mostly owing to the decline in non-ferrous metal prices. After a short
lag, the turn-around in prices is expected to be passed on to Austrian import prices of industrial raw materials.
