Viktoria Szenkurök, MSc

Viktoria Szenkurök has been working as a researcher in the WIFO Research Group "Labour Economics, Income and Social Security" since January 2025. She is also a teaching and research associate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where she is currently completing her PhD. As part of her previous research activities, Viktoria Szenkurök has undertaken several research stays abroad, including at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Lisbon School of Economics and Management. Her research focuses on (long-term) care, particularly in relation to socioeconomic inequalities in the need for and access to care, the working conditions and wages of care workers, as well as the effects of an aging population. Viktoria Szenkurök holds a Master's degree in Economics (Science track) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
