Ines Kusmenko, MSc

Ines Kusmenko has been working as an economist in the Research Group "Regional Economics and Spatial Analysis" at WIFO since January 2025. Her research focuses on the effects of demographic change as well as inequality and wealth research. Ines Kusmenko holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and a Bachelor's degree in International Business Studies from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) with study visits to Corvinus University of Budapest and the University of Latvia. Before joining WIFO, Ines Kusmenko worked at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB), the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in Sarajevo and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.
