Pathways to Future Regional Development

Workshop on Sustainability, Inequality and Innovation
The one-day workshop, organised by WIFO, Regional Studies Association (RSA) and Research Network on Smart Policies for Regional Innovation, Sustainability and Transitions (SPRINT) at the end of May aimed to foster in-depth discussion and collaboration among researchers, policymakers and practitioners.

Valuable insights into new trends and key topics in the field of regional economic development were shared and workshop participants had the opportunity to engage with the latest research findings and perspectives.

The workshop featured presentations by two keynote speakers who were selected for the strong relevance of their research to the overall theme of the workshop: Riccardo Crescenzi (London School of Economics) and Ljubica Nedelkoska (Complexity Science Hub, Harvard Growth Lab). Their presentations were recorded and can be viewed below.
