Pathways to Future Regional Development

Call for Papers – Submission Deadline: 20 February 2025
Sustainability, inequality and innovation are the focus of this one-day workshop organised by WIFO, Regional Studies Association (RSA) and Research Network on Smart Policies for Regional Innovation, Sustainability and Transitions (SPRINT). The aim is to foster in-depth discussion and collaboration among researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.

The workshop will take place on 20 May 2025 at WIFO.

Keynote speakers are Ljubica Nedelkoska (Complexity Science Hub Vienna; the Growth Lab, Harvard University) and Riccardo Crescenzi (London School of Economics and Political Science).

Submission of contributions dealing with new trends, challenges and opportunities in promoting sustainable and innovative regional development is possible until 20 February 2025.
