Invitation to the Press Conference on 20 February 2020 at the Presseclub Concordia

Does the population's assessment of the past and projected development of the Austrian pension system correspond to the facts? To initiate the "Gallup WIFO Opinion Check", WIFO director Christoph Badelt, Gallup-COO Andrea Fronaschütz, WIFO pension expert Christine Mayrhuber and WIFO forecast expert Stefan Schiman will address the topic of pensions at a press conference on February 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Presseclub Concordia (Bankgasse 8, 1010 Vienna).

With the "Gallup WIFO Opinion Check", the Austrian Gallup Institute and the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) are launching an initiative to bring facts to the often emotionally and ideologically heated discourse in our society. In the joint series of studies, the opinions of the population on economic issues are collected and compared with evidence-based information.
