Die enormen Preissteigerungen der letzten Monate und die damit verbundenen Reaktionen der Notenbanken hatten weltweit eine Stimmungseintrübung zur Folge: Private Haushalte wie Unternehmen schätzen die weitere Wirtschaftsentwicklung zunehmend pessimistisch ein. Dennoch kam es bislang noch zu keinem BIP-Rückgang, sondern lediglich zu einer Verlangsamung des Wachstums.

Economy Defies Poor Sentiment
The enormous price increases of the last few months and the associated reactions of the central banks have led to a deterioration in sentiment worldwide: private households as well as companies are increasingly pessimistic about the future development of the economy. Nevertheless, there has not yet been a decline in GDP, but only a slowdown in growth.
