Marcus Scheiblecker is a Senior Economist with more than 20 years of experience working in the Research Group "Macroeconomics and Public Finance" at WIFO. Between 2018 and 2022, he was commissioned by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for providing technical assistance on macroeconomic statistics to the South Pacific region. Additionally, he worked part-time as a lecturer for international economics and economic policy at two Austrian universities. His current research field covers macroeconomic forecasting and research in private household consumption as well as economic policy analysis.
