The Economy in the Austrian Länder. First Quarter of 2020
In the first quarter of 2020, the dynamics of the domestic economy are dominated by the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a decline in employment and an increase in unemployment. Albeit regional patterns appear rather heterogeneous from a sectoral perspective, all Länder recorded severe economic losses on a broad basis.
