Regional Differences with Only Slow Economic Stabilisation

The economic indicators for the first quarter of 2025 show significant regional differences in the slowly stabilising economy. The federal states particularly hard hit by the industrial recession continue to lag behind. The number of people in employment changed only slightly compared with the previous year; only Vienna recorded an increase of more than +1 percent.
