Productivity Growth of Austrian Firms

In cooperation with the OECD and Statistics Austria, WIFO coordinates the calculation of productivity indicators based on micro-aggregated company data for Austria. Productivity development is differentiated, for example, by sector, size class, age or relative position in the productivity distribution. The aim is to identify strengths and weaknesses and, based on these, possible priorities within the framework of a productivity-oriented strategy for enhancing the competitiveness of Austrian firms.
