11th ISWG Workshop "Empirical Economics"

The 11th ISWG Workshop "Empirical Economics" at WIFO offered empirical analyses on various economic questions.
Researchers from a number of Austrian universities and research institutions presented current empirical results for discussion at the 11th ISWG Workshop "Empirical Economics", which took place this time at WIFO. The questions were as varied as the methods used to address them.

Fiscal multipliers, tax competition between Belgian municipalities, labour market effects of cross-border commuting, effectiveness of EU cohesion policy, productivity development in the Austrian manufacturing sector: these were only some of the topics of the 11th ISWG Workshop "Empirical Economics" at WIFO. Researchers from a number of Austrian universities and research institutions took part in the two-day workshop, which has been held alternately for several years at the Universities of Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz as well as at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and at WIFO.
