WIFO Publishes Annual Report 2025
Navigating Multiple Crises
The latest Annual Report of the Austrian Institute of Economic Research was published on 20 March 2026 and is now also available in digital form. "2025 was another difficult year for the Austrian economy. Independent economic research is needed to navigate multiple crises," said WIFO Director Gabriel Felbermayr.
The Austrian Institute of Economic Research aims to contribute constructively to an informed economic policy debate by providing objective data for problem analysis, empirical studies for policy evaluation, and proposals for feasible reforms that are in the public interest.
