Die Forschungsarbeit zeigt auf, welche Rolle der Arbeitsmarktpolitik in einem sozial ausgewogenen ökologischen Transformationsprozess
zukommen kann. Zudem wird konkret danach gefragt, welche Ansätze und Initiativen zur ökologischen Nachhaltigkeit in der Arbeitsmarktpolitik
zur Integration von arbeitslosen Personen bzw. zur Vermeidung von Arbeitslosigkeit sowohl in Österreich als auch in anderen
europäischen Ländern bereits vorhanden sind bzw. diskutiert werden. Hierzu werden mittels Literaturanalyse und Expert:inneninterviews
Beispiele identifiziert und ihre Stärken und Schwächen diskutiert. Abschließend werden Ableitungen für Österreich mit Blick
auf potenzielle Qualifikationsanforderungen und Beschäftigungspotenziale formuliert.

Labour Market Policy Measures to Green the Economy - Eco-Jobs Against Unemployment?
The research shows what role labour market policy can play in a socially balanced ecological transformation process. In addition,
it specifically asks which approaches and initiatives for ecological sustainability in labour market policy for the integration
of unemployed persons or for preventing unemployment already exist or are being discussed both in Austria and in other European
countries. For this purpose, examples are identified by means of literature analysis and interviews with experts, and their
strengths and weaknesses are discussed. Finally, conclusions are formulated for Austria with regard to potential qualification
requirements and employment potential.
