Die vorliegende Studie beleuchtet den Veränderungsprozess in der Alterszusammensetzung der unselbständig Beschäftigten in
Österreich im Zeitverlauf sowie spezifische Merkmalausprägungen zur Altersstruktur der Beschäftigten auf betrieblicher Ebene.
Aus diesem Perspektivenmix werden Hinweise auf die Schwerpunkte in der Alterszusammensetzung in betrieblichen Belegschaften
dargestellt, Auffälligkeiten angezeigt bzw. vorausschauend abgeleitet, wo aufgrund der gegenwärtigen Altersstruktur der Beschäftigung
potentieller Handlungsbedarf mit Blick auf den Arbeitskräftebedarf in den nächsten Jahren entstehen wird.

This study examines the process of change in the age composition of the employed workforce in Austria over time as well as
specific characteristics of the age structure of the workforce at the company level. From this mix of perspectives, indications
of the focal points in the age composition of company workforces are presented, conspicuous features are indicated, and it
is derived in a forward-looking manner where, due to the current age structure of employment, potential need for action will
arise with regard to labour demand in the coming years.
