Die österreichische Wirtschaft wuchs im I. Quartal 2018 mit +0,8% gegenüber dem Vorquartal ähnlich stark wie in den zwei Quartalen
davor. Im Einklang mit der anhaltenden Hochkonjunktur wurde die Beschäftigung im I. Quartal merklich ausgeweitet, während
die Arbeitslosigkeit weiter sank. Wie bereits im Jahr 2017 profitierte die Wirtschaft im I. Quartal 2018 in allen Bundesländern
vom Aufschwung. Regionale Konjunkturmuster waren dabei kaum zu erkennen.

Regional Economic Development. 1st Quarter of 2018
The Austrian economy grew by 0.8 percent in the 1st quarter of 2018 compared to the 4th quarter of 2017. Growth remained therefore
constant in comparison to the previous two quarters. In accordance with the prevailing economic boom, employment was extended
significantly in the 1st quarter while the decrease in unemployment continued. Similar to 2017 the economic upturn covered
all Länder in the 1st quarter of 2018. Regional patterns in the business cycle were hardly visible.
