Unit Labour Cost Position of Austrian Manufacturing Stable in 2012 Despite Cyclical Slump
After a significant improvement in 2010 (+9.4 percent) and 2011 (+6.6 percent), productivity in Austrian manufacturing rose only marginally in 2012 (+0.1 percent). Labour costs, however, increased by 3.2 percent, approximately to the same ex-tent as in 2011 (+3.4 percent).
