Monitoring Data on ERDF and Cohesion Fund Operations, and Monitoring Systems Operated 2014-2020
As the end of the 2014-2020 programming period draws closer, the crucial role of monitoring in the wider policy cycle comes to the forefront. First, monitoring data are expected to feed into ex-post evaluations of 2014-2020 Cohesion Policy heavily; second, lessons learned from monitoring activities in the current period need to shape the preparation of 2021-2027 monitoring. This study aims at producing a solid and rigorous information basis, providing future thematic evaluations with a consistent and validated dataset of ERDF and CF supported operations as well as output indicators. WIFO will act as a scientific advisor and provide input to data cleaning and harmonisation tasks, as well as on database matching. A further task is the quality check of the databases produced and made available by the project.
