WIFO Macroeconomic Scenario: Digital Press Conference

Due to the current emergency situation and the measures taken by the Federal Government in the fight against the corona virus, the press conference on the macroeconomic scenario was broadcast live from the APA press centre by WIFO and IHS today at 10:30 a.m. A recording of the press conference is now available.

There was a limitation of media participation at this press conference. Only the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation and the Austria Press Agency were permitted to participate on site.

In an open society, freedom of science is inseparably linked to freedom of the press. Restrictions on the personal access of media representatives are therefore not frivolous and will only be imposed in absolutely exceptional situations in the future.
