An Education Campaign against the Shortage of Skilled Workers
Invitation to the event on 14 November at WU Vienna
The baby boomers are about to retire, the younger cohorts have significantly lower birth rates, supply and demand for qualifications on the labour market are often not congruent and up to 20 percent of a birth cohort is lost to the skilled labour market due to a lack of qualifications or premature dropout. This is the situation that results in our current shortage of skilled workers.
You will find the schedule in the programme.
Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask you to register by Friday, 10 November 2023, at veranstaltungen@wifo.ac.at.
