Impacts of the Green Net-Zero Transition on Occupations and Employment in Austria

The present project, conducted in cooperation with EVACON, aims to develop a transparent and replicable identification logic for so-called brown jobs in Austria, as well as to provide an initial typology of affected occupational profiles as a basis for labour market policy guidance. On this basis, new insights are to be gained regarding which occupations are affected by the net-zero transition or come under pressure to adapt, what implications this holds for occupational transformation and transition, and what options for requalification exist within the affected occupational fields.
