Transformation Radar – a Tool for Implementation Monitoring. Progress, Opportunities, and Necessary Actions in the Energy Transition

The aim of the project is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the transition to climate neutrality and the energy transition. This study analyses the current status of Austria and Germany in this process and evaluates the feasibility of the targets set. The focus is initially on Austria, with the analysis subsequently being extended to Germany. To this end, meaningful indicators are being developed to track the progress of the transformation over time. In order to better contextualise the results, an international comparison is being carried out, particularly with the EU, China, and the USA. This is crucial for assessing the degree of transformation while analysing the impact on international competitiveness – a key concern for a successful energy transition.
