Anhand eines fundierten Vergleichs der Krankenstandshäufigkeit der ÖBB-Belegschaft (im Inland) mit jener der ASVG-Versicherten
bzw. Versicherten im öffentlichen Dienst wird aufgezeigt, wieweit spezifische Faktoren, wie etwa die Altersstruktur der Beschäftigten
und die Art der ausgeübten Tätigkeit, die Krankenstandskennzahlen der ÖBB beeinflussen. Die Krankenstandsquote der ÖBB wird
dabei jener anderer Beschäftigtengruppen mit ähnlichen Merkmalen gegenübergestellt, um die wichtigsten Einflussfaktoren zu
identifizieren.

Investigation of the Sick Leave of ÖBB Employees in Comparison with ASVG Employees and Federal Employees
Based on a comparison of sick leave of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) employees (in Austria) with that of private and
public sector employees, it is shown to what extent specific factors, such as the age structure of the employees and the sector
of activity, influence the sickness figures of ÖBB. The sickness rate of the ÖBB is compared to that of other employee groups
with similar characteristics in order to identify the most important influencing factors.
