The Economy in the Austrian Länder. 1st Quarter 2019
The growth path of the Austrian economy is based on a broad sectoral basis, which results in employment growth and declining unemployment. From a regional perspective, however, growth patterns appear quite heterogeneous, with a particularly favourable manufacturing sector in the south and west of Austria, while the eastern region shows accelerated economic dynamics in construction and tourism.
