Economic Expectations Remain Restrained. Results of the WIFO-Konjunkturtest (Business Cycle Survey) September 2020
Despite further improvement, the economic assessments by Austrian companies remained sceptical in September. The WIFO economic climate index rose (seasonally adjusted) by 1.7 points but was still negative at –9.1 points. While assessments of the current situation continued to improve across the industries, the momentum of business expectations in September remained restrained.
