Regional Economy Shows Rapid Growth and a Production Boom. Business Development in the Austrian Länder in 2017
The Austrian economy enjoyed robust growth in 2017, supported by a broad base. Driven by this macroeconomic background, the production of goods and the labour market in particular experienced an upswing. The west-east divide in regional economic development observed in the last years appears to narrow gradually.
