Regional Differences Due to Weak Manufacturing Economy

The Austrian economy faced significant challenges in 2024, particularly in manufacturing and construction. In the third quarter of 2024, industry-intensive federal provinces were particularly negatively affected by the economic environment, while western regions of Austria, with the exception of Upper Austria, showed a certain degree of resilience.
