Accompanying Evaluation of the Operational Programme "Employment Austria 2014 to 2020" of the European Social Fund

The evaluation of the priority axis includes several analyses to assess the implementation of measures and their impact as well as to derive recommendations for action for future programme periods. Firstly, literature and studies on the impact of the pandemic on the educational careers of young people are analysed in order to assess the REACT approach in Austria. A quantitative analysis describes and analyses the target group of the interventions based on participant structure, participation and financial indicators. This data is compared with the target values for the programme period. A qualitative analysis complements this by analysing the implementation conditions and challenges from the perspective of the instrument coordinators. Finally, a counterfactual impact analysis of the school interventions will be conducted to assess the effects on dropout and completion rates.
