Gender Index 2013. Labour Market Situation and Life Situation of Women and Men at a Regional Level in Austria

In its action in favour of rural development, the European Community takes care to eliminate inequalities and to promote equality between men and women and non-discrimination. Concerning a WIFO publication in 2011 about the effects of the Austrian Programme for Rural Development (PRD) on the economy, employment and on environmental indicators we update the index measuring gender (in-)equality in the Austrian regions.
