Vienna's City Economy. Opportunities for International Specialisation, Key Areas

The report highlights the special structural features offered by Vienna's city economy compared to other urban regions and (thematic) opportunities against a background of the current specialisation level achieved. Moreover, it points out the economic areas which are of particular importance to secure a good regional income position and which thus merit particular attention in urban development concepts and decisions. The findings are an empirical input for the ongoing process to draw up a new urban development plan for Vienna.
