Towards Gender Monitoring and Gender Budgeting at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts
The Vienna Academy of Fine Arts intends to integrate gender budgeting in its staff and course management system as a tool to ensure gender equality. The study outlines a possible concept for such a system. An analysis of the staff structure found that previous efforts towards positive discrimination of women did improve gender equality but did not suffice to securely anchor the concept in the Academy's art and research design and in its teaching.
