Research Centre International Economics (FIW 2019-2021) – Economic Policy Pillar

The economic policy pillar of the "Forschungsschwerpunkt Internationale Wirtschaft" (FIW), funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs, aims to improve the framework conditions for theoretical and empirical economic research as well as economic policy advice in the field of international economics ("International Economics"). The visibility of all universities and non-university research institutions participating in the cooperative project is to be secured and increased in the international research community. Another goal is to position the FIW as an international networking platform for the societal and economic challenges in the field of globalisation and world trade.
