Medium-term Employment Forecasts for Austria and the Laender. Changes in Occupations and Sectors
As basis for medium-term forecasts of the future qualification demand WIFO regularily produces forecasts of the development of employment by occupations, sectors and gender. The current calculation covers the period 2021 to 2028 and provides a detailed forecast for 38 industrial sectors and 59 occupational groups. At the level of the nine federal states, 27 occupational groups and 38 industrial sectors are distinguished.
