Enterprise Monitor Unemployment. The role of enterprises in combating unemployment
Compared to the job-seeking behaviour of the unemployed, the recruitment and dismissal behaviour of companies and its influence on unemployment has so far received little attention in the public and scientific debate. Against this background, this project focuses on the role of enterprises in combating unemployment: How often do they hire unemployed persons and provide them with a long-term employment perspective? How often do employees become unemployed? And what role does the AMS play in this? The aim is to characterise and compare companies in Austria with regard to their customer relationship with the AMS and their recruitment and termination behaviour in order to reveal differences in the overall economy and political scope for action to prevent and combat unemployment.
