The labour market circumstances and support requirements of people furthest from the labour market
The aim of the project is to generate in-depth knowledge about the composition and labour market related circumstances of people furthest from the labour market, as well as to draw up proposals for a targeted support of this person group. The study is composed of three parts: The first one entails a differentiated analysis of the labour market position and the specific labour market trajectories of PES clients distant from the labour market, based on quantitative micro-data analysis. A second part covers qualitative analysis of previously excluded individuals, with the aim to provide a reliable basis for the optimal design of labour market support. In the third block, information on the experience with existing modes of intervention is collected. Based on these three blocks, the project will offer concrete suggestions for action.
