A Medium-term Forecast of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Austria

The aim of the project is to develop a suitable method to quantify a WEM scenario of greenhouse gas emissions with a forecast horizon of five years based on and coherent with the WIFO medium-term forecast. The first results of this medium-term greenhouse gas scenario (MTS) are to be published in November 2025 at the same time as the traditional medium-term forecast as part of the WIFO-Monatsberichte, provided that valid results are obtained.
