Workshop on International Economic Networks

Two-day Seminar in Vienna Starting 27 June 2019
The Heinrich Graf Hardegg'sche Stiftung, the Research Centre International Economics (FIW), the University of Vienna's Economics Department, the Vienna Graduate School of Economics (VGSE) and the Vienna Institute for International Economics Studies (wiiw) are organising a two-day workshop on June 27 and 28, 2019 in which researchers from the fields of international economics, global production networks and economic geography will participate.

Arnaud Costinot (MIT) opens the first day with a Keynote-Lecture on "Globalization and the Ladder of Development: Pushed to the Top or Held at the Bottom". The second workshop day starts with a Keynote-Lecture by Esteban Rossi-Hansberg (Princeton University) on his research on "The Industrial Revolution in Services".

The workshop's format will allow for detailed presentations and discussion about the research strategies underlying the presented papers. The closing date for registration is 24 June 2019.
