Investment Boom in Manufacturing Firms Continues. Results of the WIFO Spring 2017 Investment Survey
Manufacturers plan to raise their investments by 20 percent in 2017. The increase will be above-average among SMEs as well as capital goods and automotive manufacturers. The construction industry is expected to give a similarly weighty boost to investments (about +15 percent).
