The Production of Motor Vehicles in Austria Regional and Sectoral Aspects

This report analyses the regional interdependencies of the automotive industry in Austria with a focus on the district level. In addition to a detailed presentation of the status quo with regard to the significance of motor vehicle production for the regional employment and occupational structure, the indirect and induced effects linked to the motor vehicle industry are estimated using the small-scale input-output model BERIO.
