The Economic Impact of the Meeting Industry in Salzburg

This supplementary study provides a regional analysis of the national study "Value Creation in the Meetings Industry: The Economic Significance of the Meetings Industry in Austria." The objective is to quantify the economic effects of convention tourism, including conferences, seminars, and corporate events, specifically for the state of Salzburg. In doing so, a distinction will be made between the economic contributions of the city of Salzburg and those of the remaining regions of the federal state.
