Report: Key Challenges of Active Labour Market Policy Systems in Austria

This short article provides a concise analysis of the current state of Austria's active labour market policy (ALMP) system. It contains a critical assessment of the existing system in the context of the European Commission's political agenda and the priorities set out in the European Semester, with the aim of ensuring resilient and flexible labour markets. It provides a comprehensive overview and analysis of the current situation and identifies challenges that need to be addressed: these are the scope and capacity of the ALMP system, the effectiveness of the ALMPs provided, the quality of coordination with social services and training providers, the monitoring and evaluation of the ALMPs provided, and the cooperation with social partners and key stakeholders.
