Utilisation of Labour Force Potential

Current demographic changes pose a challenge for the economy and the labour market and raise the question of how best to exploit the existing labour force potential. This study identifies the unutilised Austrian labour force potential and examines strategies in European countries to improve the integration of older, health-impaired, female and immigrant workers into the workforce. The results are then used to draw conclusions for Austrian labour market policy.
