Manufacturers Expect Moderate Increase of Investments in 2014. Results of the WIFO Spring 2014 Investment Survey

Manufacturers are modest about increasing their investments in 2014. While producers of capital and consumer goods intend to ramp up their investments, those producing intermediate products expect a decline. The construction industry plans to invest more than in the previous year. However, this increase is attributable to individual larger companies.
