Pandemic Recovery and Inflationary Pressure Shape Regional Economy

The regional economic growth paths were very heterogeneous in the winter of 2022. The sharp rise in consumer prices led to a substantial slowdown in economic activity. However, the regional labour markets continued to record strong growth in employment and declines in the number of unemployed.
